Joseph Stalin is the new undisputed attraction of the USSR. Through means two underhanded and honest, Stalin gradually made his way from General secretary to leader in merely s plain years. Stalin was thought to devour been manipulating the memberships to suit himself and not for the good of Russia. Though popular with a substantial proportion of the people of Russia, there are slightly who are suspicious and untrusting of Stalins ends. Those are the people who embody Lenin and his views on Stalin. After Lenins death resulting from two strokes, which greatly affect his ability to retain power at the level needful to maintain support and ward off opposition, Stalin was free to oblige drastic steps to gain absolute power everyplace the Soviet Union. These steps included making sure his supporters were the bulk in Congress while voting, which ultimately gave him victory oer Trotsky, Zinoviev and Kamenev. Then in 1927, these three were expelled from the party. Defeating Trotsky, who was a former leader of the Bolshevik Party, was Stalins most challenging task. Trotsky was popular with the Red the States and some of the Party members. Stalins first move was to trick Trotsky into absentminded Lenins funeral and allowing people to believe that Trotsky did not care and was not bothered to make an appearance. Stalin then made a flattering language about Lenin and impertinently stated that he was his disciple. This provided more support for Stalin and opposition against Trotsky, which was Stalins intention. Trotsky was also losing favour with the older members of the Party as his views were extreme and he was not considered to be as true as he should have been as he was hesitant to join the Bolshevik Party and most of the Party members were associated with the Bolsheviks.

It didnt croak completely like a newspaper article exactly I can tell that you did try, I enjoy, it is hard, I had to do it. You might want to put in a advert or two, I think thats what it was missing. But good put-on overall.

Its informative, but it didnt really flow, u tended to list your ideas. Its like ure just connecting dot points of his achievements and why they were needed for success. Furthermore, you need paragraphs and the general lexicon could have been better. eg. Stalin has shown through his dubious methods of gaining power that he is a shrewed and cunning statesman. But will he be genuinely better for the USSR(not just Russia as written in the second last paragraph)?

It seemed to me that there was no real structure to the essay, even with that said it still could have been alot worse.
